The single-vehicle accident involving a black 2-door vehicle occurred on Lowell Avenue near the intersection with Oceanside Street around 3:00 p.m. on Monday.

According to the New York State Police, troopers were investigating a one-car accident in Allegany along Interstate 86 when they arrested the 31-year-old Olean woman, after determining she had been driving a vehicle while impaired and finding clonazepam and alprazolam pills for which she did not have prescriptions. The woman was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

The Putnam Daily Voice reported on a crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer along Interstate 84 on Tuesday, just east of the Connecticut/New York border. The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. near mile marker 4 in Danbury and shut down a portion of the eastbound lanes of the interstate to enable the investigation by Connecticut State Police.
