Patch and Channel 2 / WLNY Channel 10/55 CBS Local News New York reported recently that three people, including two firefighters, were injured in a New York City motor vehicle accident involving a New York City Fire Department (FDNY) vehicle and a passenger car that occurred at the busy intersection of Lenox Avenue (also known as Malcolm X Boulevard) and West 134th Street on Friday, March 12, 2021.

According to information provided by representatives of the New York City Police Department (NYPD) as well as officials from FDNY, the incident took place between 9:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Friday, March 12, 2021 near the intersection of West 134th Street and Lenox Avenue (also known for that portion of the road as Malcolm X Blvd) in in the New York City neighborhood of Harlem on the upper part of Manhattan Island. A passenger car crashed into an FDNY vehicle, resulting in one occupant of the car and two firefighters from the FDNY vehicle being medically transported to a local hospital. Their current conditions are unknown and no other information has been released at the present time; however, the accident investigation is currently ongoing and active.
