The preliminary investigation determined that the victim had been westbound on Prospect Place riding a 2013 Honda motorcycle when he was struck by a Kia Soul compact SUV northbound on Thomas S Boyland Steer. The driver and passenger of the SUV both fled the scene on foot, according to NYPD officials. The accident is being investigated by the NYPD Collision Investigation Squad, and any eyewitnesses should contact authorities.
