Having an unobstructed view of the roadway and the other vehicles and pedestrians around a vehicle is one of the key factors for avoiding an accident. While many things can distract a driver from paying attention to the roadway, there is one unavoidable occurrence that contributes to a significant cause of accidents.
According to statistics, as many as 9,000 accidents occur each year as a result of sun glare. Sun glare occurs when sunlight temporarily blinds a driver, leaving them unable to react to their surroundings. Even just a moment of sun glare can create devastating results, second only to slick or icy roads.
