The New Rochelle Daily Voice reported that a two-vehicle northern Westchester crash killed a man and a woman Sunday evening.
The incident took place around 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 25 along Route 6N, according to representatives of the Yorktown Police Department. Arriving first responders from police and fire departments found one vehicle’s driver, a 50-year-old Mahopac man, dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the second vehicle, a 56-year-old woman also from Mahopac, was found injured at the accident site and was transported to Westchester Medical Center, where she tragically died of the serious injuries she sustained during the accident.
Police have not released the identities of the two victims or the particulars of the vehicular accident that led to their deaths.

Responding agencies included Empress EMS, Lake Mohegan Fire Department, Lake Mohegan Volunteer Ambulance Corp., Mahopac Falls Fire Department, and the Mahopac Falls Volunteers Ambulance Corps. The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing and being handled by the Yorktown Police Department in association with the Westchester County Department of Public Safety Accident Investigation Unit.
